Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 28, 2026

IDEAL PET WAREHOUSE LTD., operator of the Ideal Pet Warehouse online store at https://idealpetwarehouse.shop/, wants everyone to be able to browse our products and place an order, including people who use assistive technology.

Our approach

  • We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
  • The pictures of our products have text descriptions (alt text) for screen readers.
  • Pages use headings, labels and a “Skip to content” link to make keyboard and screen reader navigation easier.
  • Text and buttons are designed for readable color contrast, and the layout adapts to phones, tablets and computers.
  • Product details such as materials, dimensions and weight are written out as text, not only shown in the pictures.

Known limitations

Some content comes from third parties, such as the Stripe payment form at checkout and the Google map on our Contact page. We cannot fully control the accessibility of that content, but we choose providers that support accessibility.
